With an intimate understanding of Central Lombok's daily tide cycles, shifting winds, and sheltered reef depths, he carefully selects the optimal wave window so you learn in calm, forgiving water tailored to your exact comfort level.
Unlike commercial surf camps that leave you lost in crowded groups, Jumbo Gerupuk is built on a boutique, high-touch standard. Every session is strictly private (1-on-1) or semi-private (maximum 2 surfers per coach) with direct boat transit to the peak. Pak Jumbo stays in the water beside you for the full 2 hours—pushing you into clean waves, guiding takeoff timing, and coaching your pop-up mechanics for fast, confident progression.

Tide-Matched Scheduling
Upon messaging via WhatsApp, Pak Jumbo checks the specific daily Lombok tide chart and recommends the ideal morning or afternoon departure window for your experience level.
Harbour Base Meetup & Gear Fitting
Meet at our harbour basecamp in Sengkol. We pair you with a custom surfboard matched to your height and skill, then get you equipped with a clean UV rash vest and protective leggings.
2-Hour Guided Lineup Session
A scenic 5-minute wooden boat ride drops you directly into the calm lineup. Pak Jumbo stays beside you in the water for 2 full hours—guiding wave selection, push-ins, and stance corrections.
Same-Day Media & Technique Review
For packages with 4K drone capture, review your rides with Pak Jumbo over cold refreshments at the harbour base. Raw 4K video clips are delivered directly to your phone the same day.

Yes. Gerupuk Bay is a sheltered sanctuary protected from heavy open-ocean currents. Our premier beginner wave, Inside Gerupuk, breaks gently over deep reef. Our wooden outrigger boat stays anchored right next to the lineup with life vests aboard, and Pak Jumbo is beside you in the water at all times.

Every package includes your coach, customized surfboard (soft-top or hardboard), round-trip wooden boat transfer to the peak, and UV rash guards. You only need to bring personal swimwear, towel, and reef-safe sunscreen.

Simply send a direct WhatsApp message to Pak Jumbo with your target dates and surfer count. Payment can be completed on the day of your session in Cash (IDR) at the harbour base, or via Indonesian Bank Transfer / Wise.
